The Shunyata Code™ is one of the POWERFUL TOOLS that I use to help manage stress and state of mind for my personal coaching clients. It's for those of you who need some help coping, finding hope, and getting calmed down. Based, in part, on The Hero’s Journey, The Tarot, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ho’Oponopono, and the Socratic Method . . . I've taken all those, mashed them together, and created a compelling technique that only takes about 30-40 min to experience. I use this myself to reframe and rewire anxiety, stress, fear, and anger feelings.

I ALREADY WENT THROUGH A PRIOR SHUNYATA CODE™ SESSION WITH YOU! IT WAS WONDERFUL BUT IS THIS ONE ANY DIFFERENT?


Yes and no. The main framework for The Shunyata Code™ remains the same (because it's such a powerful practice). The actual content (you know what I'm talking about if you've been through this before) has been updated to take into account the Summer Solstice and new season we're moving into. If you've been through one of these sessions with me before, you already know that all you have to do is show up, follow my lead, and then let me guide you for the short time we'll spend together.


I HAVE TROUBLE SITTING STILL FOR VERY LONG AND MEDITATION IS NOT MY THING. NOW WHAT?


Welcome to the Buddhist term: Monkey Mind. An odd term but it's what happens when you try in vain to sit still or meditate or be mindful and all you end up with is being unsettled, restless, or confused (or all three). The cool thing about The Shunyata Code™ is that it's been designed to provide you with a really quick reframe and grounding experience that helps you (with the aid of a special phrase we'll use together during our session) stay in the moment on purpose and with ease.

I'M A VERY BUSY PERSON. HOW LONG WILL THE SHUNYATA CODE™ SESSION TAKE?


Depending on the group, our Shunyata Code™ session will take 30-40 minutes. We'll also take some time after the formal session to debrief and I'll answer any questions you might have.


HOW IS THE SHUNYATA CODE™ DIFFERENT THAN MEDITATION OR MINDFULNESS TRAINING?


Great question (I know I wrote it, but it's still a great question)! I love this description of the difference between meditation and mindfulness (it has been attributed to various writers): "Mindfulness is the awareness of 'some-thing,' while meditation is the awareness of 'no-thing.'"


The Shunyata Code™ is certainly part meditation and part mindfulness and it's also part guided imagery (well, more guided awareness). I'll be taking you on a journey that's based, in part, on The Hero's Journey (as popularized by Joseph Campbell) and we'll make it a very personal adventure, indeed.


I'M A PRIVATE PERSON AND DON'T WANT ANYONE KNOWING MY BUSINESS. HOW CAN THE SHUNYATA CODE™ BE SO PERSONAL WHEN IT'S IN A GROUP SETTING?


Our time together is built upon a concept called "no content." You don't have to reveal anything at all about any anxiety, worry, stress, fear, etc. And this isn't therapy . . . you don't have to talk about your past, what's triggering you right now, or even where you want to go with your life. All you need to do is show up for The Shunyata Code™ and experience the journey. Bring your curiosity and your openness, follow one simple instruction, then you just go with the flow (literally and figuratively). This is non-invasive and your privacy (other than your name and appearance online) remains intact.

WHY ISN'T THIS BEING RECORDED FOR REPLAY?


The Shunyata Code™ is a very personal experience. And I want you to be onscreen and immersed in what we're doing without being self-conscious that someone else might be watching at a different time. I'm recording the session for my own archival purpose but I assure you that the recording will never be released for replay (let alone resale). This also allows you to directly experience The Shunyata Code™ and take away from it what you need at that very moment.
