THE
QUESTIONS
WE CARRY
Come in.
You probably came here because
there's something you've been wondering about.
Maybe it's important or maybe it's strange.
Maybe you've been carrying it for a long time
or maybe it just showed up this morning.
Maybe you've already asked everyone you know. That's okay.
What's the question?
I can't promise I'll have an answer.
(Actually, I'm a little suspicious of people who always have answers.)
But if your question catches hold of me, I'll find my way back to you.
I've got some cards.
And I've got a little life experience.
And I've learned a few strange things along the way.
And I'm pretty good at looking at things from odd angles.
Let's see what happens.
Send me one question you genuinely don't know how to answer.
One last thing.
I won't tell you how to live your life,
and I don't promise to predict what happens next.
If what you're facing needs a doctor, therapist,
lawyer, financial adviser, emergency service,
or another professional, they're the people to ask–not me.
But if you're carrying one of those
wonderfully human questions that
doesn't seem to have an easy answer...
Pull up a chair.
